13 Mile Road Road Construction Between Lahser, Telegraph Begins July 26
Southbound Greenfield Road will be closed just south of 13 Mile Road on the border of Royal Oak and Southfield from Wednesday through Friday or Saturday, according to the Road Commission for Oakland County.

Motorists that rely on 13 Mile Road in Beverly Hills will have another week before the roadway is closed for a major repair project.
The Oakland County Road Commission announced the project, which was scheduled to start Monday was delayed until July 26. The road will be closed between Lahser and Telegraph through Aug. 29 as Consumers Energy repairs a gas line.
The suggested detour route for 13 Mile through traffic is:
- Lahser Road to 14 Mile
- 14 Mile to Telegraph
- Back to 13 Mile
Construction is expected to be completed before school resumes in the fall. Access to all homes and businesses within the closure — including Bingham Farms Elementary School — will be maintained at all times.
