Baldwin Library Closed for Woodward Dream Cruise
Baldwin Public Library Board sent a letter to area lawmakers requesting Michigan's open carry law prohibit open carry in libraries.

The Baldwin Public Library will be closed on Saturday, Aug. 18 for the Woodward Dream Cruise. The library will resume normal business hours from noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
On-line services for the library will remain available, said Associate Director Matt Church.
Editor's Note: In November, Bloomfield Hills residents narrowly passed a a 0.39-mill levy to fund a three-year contract with the Baldwin Public Library, giving them a library to call their own after several years and two previous millage attempts.

Orrin initially followed the lessons of his fourth grade teacher who repeatedly said "When the going gets tough, the tough get going". He took this seriously and applied in his life to gain success and loyalty.
