Bloomfield Chargers and Avondale play to a 1-1 Tie

In a game played on Wednesday at The Troy Sports Center, the Bloomfield United Chargers and division rivals the Avondale Yellow Jackets skated to a 1-1 tie. 

The Chargers scored first at 13:56 of the second period on a goal from Kevin Barnett.  Chase Smith got the assist for the Chargers. 

The Yellow Jackets tied the game with just :44 seconds in regulation at 14:16 of the third period.  The goal was scored by Luke Senkowski, assisted by Emmett Wagner and Eric Gadzinski. 

Chargers senior goalkeeper, Nick Dingwall stopped 22 shots in the game. 

The Chargers next game is this Saturday January 19 at the Detroit Skating Club in Bloomfield Hills when they face league leading Berkley Unified.  The opening face-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM.  Be sure to join “Charlie the Charger” as the game has been designated Fan Spirit Night.  Fans are encouraged to dress up as spirited fans to “charge up” the Bloomfield student section!
