Bloomfield Chargers Defeat Oxford Wildcats in a 4-2 Thriller!
In a game played on Wednesday at The Onyx in Rochester, the Bloomfield Chargers defeated the Oxford Wildcats by a score of 4-2. Scoring first for the Wildcats was Luke Novack at the 9:42 mark of the first period. Assists on the goal went to Scott Stubenrauch and Connor Novack. Cody Wright scored at 12:01 in the second period with an assists to Steven Fowler.
The Chargers came back with a goal at 5:49 of the second period. The goal was scored by Sonny Kim in his first game back after an injury, with an assist to Andrew Settecerri. The Chargers tied the game at 10:54 in the third with a goal scored by Johnny Artemenko and an assist to the Captain Chase Smith.
The Chargers took the lead at 6:23 in the third with a goal from Johnny Artemenko, his second of the night and as assist to Chase Smith.
Smith scored again at: 20 of the third period with an empty net goal.
After the game, Bloomfield Head Coach Bruce McAlister said, “I’ll just say one thing…It’s games like tonight that demonstrate what this team is made of!”
The Chargers play their next league game on Saturday December 1 against Troy High. The game will be played at 5:00 at The Troy Sports Center in Troy.
