Bloomfield Hills' Norm Sinclair Recognized by Alliance of Area Business Publications
The Alliance of Area Business Publications, a national organization, recently recognized DBusiness magazine with four awards at the 2012 Editorial Excellence Awards, including Best Overall Design.
Other awards included silver in the following categories: Best Body of Work by a Single Writer by Bloomfield Hills area resident Norm Sinclair; Best Personality Profile; and Best Cover.
Judged by experienced journalists across the country, DBusiness received a gold award for Best Overall Design. It was the second year in a row that DBusiness garnered the gold. The judges noted the magazine’s “beautiful array of covers greeting the regular readers.” Additionally, the magazine is continually distinguished for its “sophisticated use of color and unique color combinations.”
The design was conceived and awarded to R.J. King, DBusiness editor; Jessica Decker, art director; and Megan Dekok, associate art director.
DBusiness also earned three additional silver awards:
