Bloomfield Hills Public Safety Department Open House 2012
On Saturday, Sept. 8th the Bloomfield Hills Public Safety Department had its first open house since 2008. Attendance was approximately 200 adults and children. The weather cooperated with a fantastic cool fall day and our sponsors: Northern Trust Bank; Templeton Building Co.; Secrest Wardell; Hubbell Roth and Clark; LSL Planning and Mckenna Associates contributions to fire education supplies were greatly appreciated by the children.
The Smoke House and interactive Stove Fire demonstrations were very popular. The star of the various demonstrations was PSO Reynolds and drug dog “Chance”. Sparky’s Dogs provided hot dogs, chips and sodas to keep the youngsters energy levels up as they traveled throughout the displays and on the fire trucks.
