Editor's Note: In November, Bloomfield Hills residents narrowly passed a a 0.39-mill levy to fund a three-year contract with the Baldwin Public Library, giving them a library to call their own after several years and two previous millage attempts.
Individual tickets are now on sale for the Books and Bites fundraiser at the Baldwin Public Library from 6-9 p.m. on Oct. 18. Tickets are $50 each and proceeds will be used for an upgrade of the library's teen space. Improvements include updated carpet, paint, additional seating and dedicated computers for teens.
Attendees will have their choice of wine and beer provided by Big Rock Chophouse and Griffin Claw Brewing Company. A strolling dinner is being prepared by Barrio Tacos & Tequila, Chen Chow Brasserie, Elie's Mediterranean Grill/Bar, Frank Street Bakery, Maggiano's Little Italy and Papa Joe's Gourmet Market & Catering. Live music will be performed by Sean Blackman.
Complimentary valet parking is provided by In House Valet.
Contact Josh Rouan at 248-554-4683 to make a reservation. Sponsorship opportunities are available and more information is available on the library's website.
