“Bringing Broadway to You” is the best way for Michiganders to have a bit of the big apple close to home.
This is a new endeavor for the Andover Choir department and is a first step in Bloomfield's transitioning effort to one high school with singers from both schools sharing the stage and performing together. Broadway artists, including James Moye and Jessica Grove’, along with Andover and Lahser High School Choir members will perform Saturday, October 27th at 7:30 p.m. at Andover High School Auditorium.
James Moye’s credits include: Broadway/Off-Broadway: Ragtime, A Tale of Two Cities, The Full Monty, Urinetown, Happiness (Lincoln Center). National tours: The Drowsy Chaperone (Aldopho), Little Shop of Horrors (Orin et. al), White Christmas(Bob Wallace, Ordway).
Film/TV: Fair Game (Upcoming, w/ Sean Penn), “Law and Order: C.I.,” “As The World Turns,” “Guiding Light.” Cast recording: Dream True. Proud member of Actor’s Equity.
Jessica Grové most recently appeared on
Broadway in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC with Bernadette Peters and Elaine Stritch. Her other Broadway credits include SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE, THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE (Miss Dorothy), and LES MISÉRABLES (Eponine). At age 15, Jessica
originated the role of Dorothy in THE WIZARD OF OZ at New York City’s Madison Square Garden as well as on the National Tour, performing alongside legends
Mickey Rooney and Eartha Kitt. Jessica received a Jefferson Award nomination for her portrayal, and can be heard on the 1998 Grammy nominated cast recording.

actors to participate in a morning workshop with James Moye and Jessica Grove. The cost for the workshop and a ticket to the evening’s performance is $50.00 email
