The Detroit County Day men's varsity tennis team is off to an impeccable start, sweeping all flights of their tournaments in both Grand Rapids last weekend and in Petoskey this weekend. They also won 8-0 at Grosse Pointe South on Tuesday.

This team has incredible leadership with its six returning seniors: captain Sven Kranz, captain Alex Gruskin, Max Shanbrom, Max Lee, Patrick Adams and Lorenz Gahn. Also remarkable is the play of junior Max Fliegner who competes nationally as well.

The team faces Catholic Central at CC Monday at 4p.m. and Brother Rice at home on Wednesday at 4p.m.
