Football Frenzy: Vote Now to Nominate Final Andover vs. Lahser Game

On Tuesday, we told you how a memorable football season in the Bloomfield Hills Schools kicks off this Friday with the final rivalry game between Andover and Lahser high schools due to the pending merger to Bloomfield Hills High School in 2013.

To mark the special occasion, WDIV Channel 4 will consider featuring the contest as its Football Frenzy Game of the Week. That means extra coverage of the action on the field in the final "Battle for the Sword" at Lahser's Dauch Field.

But for that to happen, you've got to vote from as many computers or mobile devices as possible on the station's website. The competition is fierce, but this game was in second place as of Wednesday morning. Voting ends at 6 a.m. Thursday.
