August 3, 2012 Commerce, MI — Andover High School graduate and congressional candidate Brad Hantler announced that he has received an endorsement from Mike Huckabee, Governor of Arkansas from 1996 through 2007, and winner of the Iowa Caucuses during his 2008 run for President.

Mr. Hantler stated: “Mr. Huckabee and I see eye to eye on several issues that are pivotal to this election, not just in the state of Michigan, but nationwide. We are both strongly pro-life, and are staunch believers in the Second Amendment and Americans’ right to defend themselves. He has advocated tax reform as I have consistently throughout my campaign. In addition, like me, he recognizes the importance of higher education and was impressed with my suggestions how it could be made more affordable.”

Governor Huckabee is yet another national political figure who has picked up on Mr. Hantler’s solid solution laden platform that he has been articulating with consistency during his campaign. Recently, Mr. Hantler was endorsed by 2012 Presidential candidate and businessman, Herman Cain who praised Mr. Hantler for calling for a part-time Michigan legislature, as well as his recommendations regarding revision of the current stat tax structure.

Governor Huckabee and Mr. Hantler also oppose ObamaCare, which will strip most Americans of many choices regarding their healthcare. Mr. Hantler is the only candidate in the six way race to become the Republican candidate for the Michigan House of Representatives to take aggressive action to prevent Michigan from participating in the National system by circulating a petition for Michigan to opt out of the program.
