JARC Launches New Company Web Site Designed Many Enhancements Including Better Navigation and "One-Stop" Shopping

JARC, an organization serving people with disabilities, is pleased to announce the launch of its newly re-designed company Web site today, February 25, 2013. The announcement was made by Rick Loewenstein, Chief Executive Officer of JARC.

The Web site features many upgrades and improvements including a compelling and modern design, easier navigation, a new JARC blog with stories about activities and people JARC serves, news updates highlighting the latest happenings at JARC and in the field of disabilities, an events calendar with links to purchase tickets, RSVP and volunteer opportunities, and a JARC store highlighting JARC logo items available. The Web site was also designed with a convenient “one-stop” shopping feature, allowing donors to easily make online donations or tributes, and also store donor information safely and securely for future transactions.

“As our organization continues to grow, our Web site needs to evolve as well and we’d like to thank the Marvin and Betty Danto Family Foundation whose generosity helped to fund the re-design,” said Rick Loewenstein, Chief Executive Officer of JARC. “Also our gratitude goes out to the JARC Board Marketing Committee – Stephanie Freedman of Freedman Communications, Michelle Gilbert of Verizon Wireless, Jason Miller of Access Computer Technology and Scott Werner of Werner Marketing – for their valuable counsel during this process.”

JARC will be hosting a contest to coincide with the new Web site launch. The first 100 visitors to the site will be entered into a drawing to receive 2 free tickets to SpringElation, JARC’s annual fundraiser, at the Zoo on May 22, 2013 from 6 to 9 pm.  Visit www.jarc.org for details.
