Head Coach Nick Stration will host a parent/athlete meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 7 at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria. All parents/athletes are strongly encouraged to attend.

For the first three weeks of the season there will be two practices a day form 7-9 a.m., and 4-6 p.m. Everyone is expected to be at these practices as Stration said he believes they practices are essential toward building a successful season, both physically and mentally.

The Monday and Friday morning practices will meet at the E.L. Nature Center. All other practices will meet at Lahser H.S., unless told otherwise. All athletes are required to have running/cross-training shoes, sweats (top & bottoms), and mosquito/bug spray. In order to establish team cohesiveness, both the boys and girls teams will be going away to a team camp. This year marks the 12th annual camp, which will be from Tuesday, Aug. 21 - Thursday, Aug. 23 at Camp Tamarack in Ortonville.

The cost of the camp is $170.00, which includes; lodging, meals and the use of the outdoor challenge program. More information will be made available at the parent/athlete meeting.
