Vanderbilt University named West Bloomfield resident Blaine Patrick Stannard to the Dean's List for the fall semester. Stannard, in his first year in the College of Arts and Science, is majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology. He is the son of Dr. Sean and Jan Stannard. Vanderbilt University students are named to the Dean's List when they earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 while carrying 12 or more graded hours. Stannard, a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the International Academy in Bloomfield Hills, was also a National Merit Finalist, National Merit Corporation Scholarship Winner, a Michigan High School Athletic Association Scholar-Athlete Finalist, and recipient of the 2012 Kaspers’ Scholarship for the USTA-Southeast Michigan District.
