Lahser defeated Auburn Hills Avondale, the third-ranked Division 2 soccer team in the state and 2011 state champion, last night at Avondale.  After a scoreless first half, Lahser senior Kristian Rego scored the first goal, with an assist by sophomore Patrick Eick.  Junior Jack Ramonat scored the second goal.  Lahser junior goalie Logan McDonald recorded four saves, and Avondale goalie Ben Richter tallied six saves. Lahser's record is 7-4-3 overall, and 0-2-2 in the OAA Red Conference, while Avondale stands at 9-3-0.  Lahser takes on Clarkston at home this Thursday, September 27th.  JV starts at 5:30, Varsity at 7:00.
