BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI (February 5, 2013) --- Waterford Hotel Group awarded the Radisson Hotel in Bloomfield Hills with the Most Improved RevPAR award and a Core Value award for customer service at the company’s recent Annual Leadership Conference and Awards Celebration. The 3-day conference, held at the Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks, CT, was attended by more than 85 managers from Waterford Hotel Group and its managed portfolio. The conference provided attendees the opportunity to celebrate past successes while gaining new resources to excel in the coming year.

The 150-room Radisson Bloomfield Hills received the Most Improved RevPAR recognition at an awards ceremony held during the conference to recognize the company’s top performers from 2012. RevPAR is a performance metric used in the hospitality industry calculated by multiplying a hotel's average daily room rate by its occupancy rate. The award was presented to the Radisson team for an impressive improvement in 2012. Additionally, Sales Manager Dana Bellant was recognized with a Sales Champion Award at the conference as one of Waterford’s top sales producers.
