Andover Musicians To Play Birmingham Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra's Holiday Concert

The 2012 Young Artist Competition winner Haeji Kim and other students will perform with the BBSO this weekend at Groves High School.

Today's Pick:  Birmingham Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra Brings Holiday Cheer

  • When: 7 p.m. Sunday
  • Where: Groves High School
  • Cost: $22 for adults and free for children 18 years and younger. Ticket prices at the door are $25. Tickets may be purchased at www.bbso.org or by calling 248-352-2276. 
  • Why Go: Several members of the Andover High School orchestra, including violinist Haeji Kim — the winner of the 2012 BBSO Young Artist Competition — will perform "Andante Festivo"with the BBSO. Kim will conclude the concert with a solo performance of the first movement of Wieniawski's Violin Concert No. 1 in F minor.
