Sunday was not a day of rest for Brother Rice High School, as the varsity football team drew thousands for the first game played on Fracassa Field.
The historical significance was not enough to secure a win against rival De La Salle High School of Warren, however, and the Warriors fell to the Pilots 21-20 in overtime.
