This home in the 100 block of Barrington Road in Bloomfield Township was classified as a total loss following a blaze Tuesday night. No one was injured and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Earlier this week, we told you about the fire that virtually destroyed a home in the 100 block of Barrington Road, just of of Square Lake Road. The ranch-style home and surrounding property were severely damaged by the blaze, which was reported by neighbors at about 10:30 p.m. on Sept. 11. No one was home at the time and no one was injured, according to Fire Marshal Mike McCully of the Bloomfield Township Fire Department.
The cause remains under investigation by the department, with assistance from the Oakland County Sheriff's Office fire investigator, according to a sheriff's report.
