Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

Nominate Bloomfield's Best Grocery Store

Tell us the best of the best in Bloomfield and find out which wins the Readers’ Choice 2012 Award after a vote.

Editor’s Note: The nomination period for this and other Reader’s Choice topics closed at 11:59 p.m. July 9. You are still more than welcome to leave comments, rate a business or leave reviews. Please check back and vote in our Readers’ Choice polls when they roll out on July 23.

Do you buy in bulk or like to stay with Michigan-made products? Or do you prefer organic produce and specialty stores to feed yourself or the family? Bloomfield has a bit of it all to offer, and we'd like to know the best of the best.

Patch is relaunching its Readers’ Choice program and we’re asking you, your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers and anyone else who knows the area to nominate the best spots in Bloomfield.

We’ll accept nominations through July 9 and then start the voting, so make sure to get your favorites in now.

All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.

Thanks in advance for your participation and don't forget to tell your friends on Facebook, Twitter and email!

PS: Sign up for the newsletter to find out when voting starts so you can support your favorite institution in the Readers' Choice contest.

I nominate Plum Market. Not only do they have excellent produce, fish/chicken/meats, deli, bakery, organic and gourmet items, but they have an outstanding prepared foods kitchen and awesome customer service. Rewards program and weekly coupons help bring down the cost.
