Change can be good, even when it comes to Facebook. The social networking juggernaut is requiring all pages to switch to a newer 'timeline' layout that requires a few more prominent photos by March 31.

So we want to take advantage of this opportunity and open it up to readers to see what your favorite backdrop around town is. Whether it's a swarm of Corvettes throttling toward the sunset on the eve of the Woodward Dream Cruise, or children hooking their first fish at the E.L. Johnson Nature Center, there are plenty of ways to capture an image that uniquely says Bloomfield.

We want to show them off. Much like our popular Patch of Michigan Photo Contest last summer, we want to compile a gallery of favorite photos from Bloomfield Patch readers. We'll use our favorites in the new "timeline" collage we're creating for our Bloomfield-Bloomfield Hills Patch Facebook page.
