Police Blotter: Vandalism at Eastover; Auto Thefts Reported

Damage to Playground Equipment at Eastover
Police responded to the school at 1101 Westview Road on Nov. 16 for reports of damaged playground equipment. Further details about the type of damage and associated costs to make repairs were not available. The report noted that regular officers as well as school liaison officers plan extra patrols to stop the problem and catch the perpetrators.
- The owner of a Pontiac G8 returned to the parking lot in the 400 block of Fox Hills Drive on Nov. 24 and said her vehicle was gone. There were no witnesses.
- The catalytic converter was stolen from a underneath a vehicle parked outside a residence in the 800 block of West Long Lake Road, police reports said. The owner reported the damage to his 2006 Cadillac DTS on Nov. 23. No suspect information was available. Police are still investigating numerous reports of catalytic converter thefts over the past two months.
A resident in the 1900 block of Bent Tree Hill reported that someone used his credit card information to purchase a barbecue grill on Nov. 20, reports said. The victim stated the grill was delivered to an address in While Lake and detectives are following up t track the purchase.
