Malicious destruction of property

A Bloomfield Township woman could not get back into her home after a shopping trip because someone put glue into the door lock, police reports said. The woman said she left her home in the 1600 block of Bloomfield Place on the morning of Dec. 22, and spent a few hours shopping. When she returned, she could not get the key into the lock, reports said.

Upon inspection, officers determined that someone injected glue into the door lock. The woman gave officers the name of a possible suspect, and the investigation is ongoing, reports said.
