Private School Open Houses in the Bloomfield Hills Area
Several of the fine institutions in Bloomfield Township, Bloomfield Hills, and nearby will open their doors to prospective parents this week.
Yes, it's January, but, no, it's not too early to begin planning for school next fall. Particularly if you had one of the many high-quality private schools in the Bloomfield area in mind.
This week, several of these institutions will host their annual open houses for current and prospective parents to take a first-hand look at what's offered.
Sunday, Jan. 13:
- Cranbrook, from 1-3 p.m.
- Detroit Country Day Open House, all campuses from 1-3 p.m.
- Our Lady Queen of Martyrs School Open House, 11 a.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 15: Roeper Lower School Open House
Thursday, Jan. 17: Kindergarten Information Night at St. Hugo of the Hills School
Later this month:
Thursday, Jan. 24: Family Open House at Hillel Day School, 32200 Middlebelt Rd., Farmington Hills.
Dinner, activities, stories, science, exploration, Israeli dancing for prospective families with children entering kindergarten through 8th grade.

I highly suggest attending The Academy of the Sacred Heart all school open house on Feb 3rd. They are the oldest independent private school in our area and have a great reputation for educating top performing students.
