According to AAA Michigan, more than 500,000 people are injured in alcohol-related crashes every year- with more than 12,000 resulting in death. AAA offers these tips to help people become part of the solution:
- Never ride in a car with someone who is intoxicated.
- When entertaining, be a responsible host.
- Immediately report impaired drivers to area law enforcement.
- Use the designated driver system.
