While Five Below and Dick's Sporting Goods moved in nearby, the Avenue store on Bloomfield Township's north end closed without much fanfare over the summer. Bloomfield Patch wants to know: what should take its place?

You don't need to be a commercial developer or city planner — or have money to invest in a business project — to have the next great idea. We just want to hear about it. Please leave your ideas in the comments section below.

I think a book store would be great and do well here.

I would like to see a Bed, Bath & Beyond because the nearest one is in Farmington Hills. Another store that might work is Buy, Buy Baby. That chain is also owned by Bed Bath & Beyond. You might want to start looking for a replacement for Kmart, because the store looks like it could close any day.

I would love to see a Cost Plus World Market. It is a great store and the nearest one is in Ann Arbor. Would be a great addition to the strip mall.
