Oops!! Didn't you hear the news? Obama changed the Obamacare signup deadline once again. SometimeRead Morei n April. Don't fret or worry, it will probably change a few more times, especially as the 2014 elections are looming, and we need some positive input somewhere, someway, concerning Obamacare. I wonder how many folk who signed up, actually paid any $$ out of their pockets for it??? No data on this aspect. And the govt is the data folk.....must be grim news........it is sort of like registering to vote, just registering does not mean one actually votes, and in the last Dearborn election, less than 30% of those registered bothered to vote. How many are actually spending $$$$$ ???

Angry, angry Bob Anderson. No need to look at the video. It's just an angry teabagger.

I NEVER get a flu shot... Well, almost never. The two times I have gotten one in my 70+ years ofRead Moreex istence resulted in, if not the flu, at least instances of being very sick for a couple weeks afterwards. This is not to say that I don't take reasonable precautions...like staying out of big crowds in enclosed very warm places, washing my hands constantly, and trying to keep my distance from others who are coughing or sneezing. The fact that younger people are seemingly bigger targets for this year's flu seems to suggest that at long last there is a benefit to being old. And the benefit is no doubt some immunity for those of us who survived bad cases of flu like illnesses in the past. I remember being really sick with flu in winter 1959 and winter 1969. I would like to encourage all the 20,30,40 year olds to get immunized while they still can. Obviously this year's flu is a major illness with very serious consequences for that age group as well as for anyone of any age with compromised immune systems or other health issues.

But do I really want to risk having my kids at the bus stop (even for a few minutes) and moreRead Moreimport antly, on the roads tomorrow? I also don't want any staff to risk their safety driving to school. As much as this mama needs winter break to END and her kids to go back to school, is it really worth it?

Jenifer, I sure wouldn't! Not only that, but wouldn't you like to be able to plan your dayRead Moreaccordi ngly? Last-minute decisions don't help with deciding whether or not to take a day off from work to stay home with the kids, call a baby-sitter/grandparent, etc. Hate prograstination!
