Art Birmingham, originally known as the Birmingham Fine Arts Festival, celebrates its 31st anniversary in Shain Park. This exquisite fine art fair will showcase 175 juried artists in an elegant setting. Featured work include paintings, ceramics, photography, jewelry, glass, wood, sculpture, mixed media, fiber, metal and more.
Hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. The event is sponsored by both the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center and the Guild of Artists and Artisans.

More About Shain Park
Located in heart of downtown Birmingham, Shain Park is a gathering place for Birmingham's residents. Boxed between Martin, Merrill, Henrietta and Bates streets, the park is a popular spot to relax, enjoy an open-air lunch or watch a concert. And with City Hall, the Birmingham Community House and Baldwin Public Library next door, there's no way to miss it.
With an elegant sculpture as its centerpiece, the park is flanked by two focus points. An open-air concert stage sits on the south end, while a fountain adorns the north side. In between there is plenty of open green space for a game of tag or tossing a ball.
