Coyote Friend or Foe?

Johnson Nature Center, 3325 Franklin Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI | Get Directions »
$5.00

Our local coyote population has grown in recent years.   Coyote sightings are common and residents wonder if they should be concerned or feel grateful for having a medium size predator in their neighborhood.  Bill Dodge, Biologist from Wayne State University, is currently conducting research of our urban coyote population throughout the Detroit area including Bloomfield Township.  Bill will share some insights of the urban coyote gleaned from his ongoing research.  Learn about the diet, needs, and lifestyle of an urban coyote.  Information about protecting small pets will be shared.  Bloomfield Township police officer Pete Matejcik will also be available to answer questions.
