The League of Women Voters Oakland Area will host a forum for candidates seeking seats on the 48th District Court. The event is coordinated by Judy Bateman and sponsored by the Oakland County Bar Association and the Detroit Free Press.
Candidates on the Aug. 7 ballot are Josh Arnkoff, District Judge Diane D'Agostini, Gary R. Sanfield, and Steven Schwartz.

The Bloomfield Township Public Library is located at the southeast corner of Lone Pine and Telegraph roads.
