The girls swim and dive team from Bloomfield Hills HS finished 9th at the Oakland County Championships today at Lake Orion High School. The meet was one of the fastest in history, with 8 meet and pool records being broken.
Ines Charles (BHHS Senior) lead the way with a 3rd place finish in the 100 Backstroke and 8th place finish in the 100 Fly. Both times were MHSAA D1 State qualifying times. Sarah Kilbride and Hailey Sambor helped the Black Hawks with top 16 finishes in their individual events.
The Black Hawk divers earned a bulk of the team points with a 4th place finish by Olivia Wagner and a 13th place finish by Erika LaCasse.
All 3 Black Hawk relays scored in the top 16. The 200 Medley Relay team on Ines Charles, Hailey Sambor, Sarah Kilbride, and Niki Krear earned a state qualifying time and a 6th place finish.
