Achievement: Sinha is among the small percentage of test takers across the country to earn at perfect composite score of 36 on the ACT. Though the number of perfect scores varies year to year, less than one-tenth of 1 percent of students that take the test earn a top score, according to ACT organizers. Among the high school graduating class of 2012, only 781 of more than 1.66 million could boast of accomplishment.

"I never expected to receive a perfect score and was quite shocked to find out that I had," said Sinha, also a varsity tennis player along president of the junior student council. He said he believes the score not only opens many doors in terms of college admissions, but will help him realize his potential and ability to compete with many other top students around the country.

"I feel a tremendous sense of accomplishment with my perfect score and greatly appreciate all the support I have received from friends, family, and members of the community as a whole," he added.

What makes him successful?: Sinha credits his drive to his willingness to always keep learning and keep improving. He said he believes attitude is just as important to doing well on the ACT as having a strong academic background.

"The key to taking the ACT is to approach the test with eagerness and ambition and never as just “some long test you take for three hours on a Saturday,” he said. "Approaching the test with this eager attitude helps immensely in allowing the student to perform better when test day arrives."

What's next?: Sinha said he's looking forward to enjoying the summer with friends and family, but he'll also be busy pursuing his dream of entrepreneurship. He'll attend a for-week long program conducted by MIT and Harvard where he hopes to learn about launching a company of his own by developing a business plan and pitching to legitimate investors with real money.
