Cranbrook House and Gardens invites you to attend an enlightening presentation on the DIA's Five Spanish Masterpieces exhibition. Head curator of the exhibition, Dr. Salvador Salort-Pons will offer his expertise as he guides the audience through the composition of the collection. Guests of the lecture will be exposed to the extraordinary ambiance of Cranbrook House library, a masterpiece in its own right. Lecture in the Library - Five Spanish Masterpieces will be held on Tuesday, July 17th at 7:30 p.m.
Dr Salvador Salort-Pons is the head of the European Art Department at the DIA. He has been the recipient of a Rome Prize Fellowship at the Spanish Academy of Rome and many other esteemed awards. Salort-Pons holds two masters degrees, a doctorate degree, and has published two books and a number of scientific articles.
Proceeds of the lecture benefit the Cranbrook House and Gardens Endowment Fund. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased online or over the phone.
