Oakland Choral Society begins Rehearsals

The Oakland Choral Society, under the direction of Frederic DeHaven, will begin rehearsals on Tuesday, September 11, 2012.  Registration begins at 6:45 pm and rehearsal at 7:15 pm.

Rehearsals will be held at the Birmingham Unitarian Church located at 38651 Woodward Ave., in Bloomfield Hills.

 The Fall 2012 Season will include Mozart: Grand Mass in C minor on December 2, 2012 at St. Jane Frances de Chantal in Sterling Heights and Handel: Messiah on December 16, 2012, at St. John Armenian Church in Southfield.

 The Oakland Choral Society is in its 50th year of presenting major choral works with professional orchestra and soloists

 New singers are always welcome. No audition required although singers should have some classical choral experience. Semester dues are $60 and age 30 and under $35.
