Settlers to Citizens: A Tour of Historic Jewish Detroit

Our award-winning tour Settlers to Citizens Youth Tours are such a hit, that once a year we offer an adult version and make it available to community members.  All ages are welcome!

$40 per person

Join us for this fascinating, docent-narrated bus tour of Detroit’s old Jewish neighborhoods, shuls and other sites.  For some, this trip back in time will be to the places of your grandmother's childhood, your father's school, your best friend's small business.  For others, this will be a chance to see Detroit through the eyes of our ancestors.  For all, this tour will evoke a sense of what Jewish life used to be like  and will ignite a passion for the Detroit of today as we see present-day Jewish landmarks and learn about the people who are making these visions come true.
