Saturday afternoons at Bloomfield Hills High School -- the former Lahser High -- are busy times. Hundreds of elementary and middle school students are involved in multiple flag football games, cheerleading practice and more. My cheerleader granddaughter, a member of the Oakland Fusion squad, is among them. Parents (and grandparents) crowd the sidelines and encourage the junior athletes Good fun.
