At Thursday’s board meeting, a soft spoken woman stood up, independent of any local political group, and spoke about how she could have purchased “more home” for less money in surrounding districts. She chose to pay more money for “less” home. Why? Because it was located in the Bloomfield Hills School system. We hear this time and time again, and most people agree that great public schools create higher home values.
