What's Best Place for March Madness in Bloomfield? Moose Preserve Gets the Nod

The tavern on Woodward Avenue in Bloomfield Hills is our readers' choice for the second consecutive week.

Throughout the week, we've asked what's the  and added a poll for good measure.

The vote was back-and-forth much of the week, but, was our readers' choice by earning 51 percent of the vote. Last week, 53 percent of readers also found it .

Like in that poll, the , which opened in Bloomfield Township , finished second this week with 33 percent of the vote. ,  and also received votes.

Lisa O'Shea, general manager of the Moose Preserve, said the tavern has been a regular favorite for March Madness fans since opening in 1990 because of the atmosphere. Two big screens and eight regular televisions — including some available on the now-open patio — don't hurt either.

"We know a lot of people like to watch all the games and that a lot of people take extended lunches or alter their work schedules for the big ones, so we try to accommodate them," O'Shea said.
