Where to Watch the NCAA Tournament in Bloomfield

Two are in the running, but do you think a Michigan team will bring home the championship April 8?

The annual NCAA Division I men's college basketball tournament begins today, and it wouldn't be March without the bracket (find a handy, printable bracket in the PDF with this story.)

Here's the Michigan State Spartans and the Michigan Wolverines lineup on Thursday:

  • MSU vs. Valparaiso — 12:15 p.m. (CBS)
  • Michigan vs. South Dakota State — 7:15 p.m. (CBS)

[Those games will take place just up the road at the Palace in Auburn Hills. If you're going to the Palace, please check out Patch's real-time traffic map for the latest road conditions.]

But if you like the company of other fans when you cheer on Michigan teams, there are plenty of places in Bloomfield and Bloomfield Hills to take in the action. Last year, a majority of Bloomfield-Bloomfield Hills Patch readers selected the The Moose Preserve as the best place to experience the tournament. However, the landscape has changed a bit since then.

  • The Moose Preserve
  • Rusty Bucket
  • Bagger Dave's
  • Fuddruckers
  • Hogan's Restaurant
