30 Days of Giving, Day 20: Grant a Wish

Help make a child's dream come true by supporting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan or The Rainbow Connection.

This is part of a 30-day series of ways Patch community members can give back this holiday season. We hope you'll take part in this 30 Days of Giving and take the spirit beyond the holidays, because there truly is need all year long.

Make a wish come true

Make-A-Wish Foundation of Michigan is an organization based out of Brighton that puts joy into the lives of children suffering from life threatening illnesses. Since the charity was incorporated in 1984, Make-A-Wish has granted the wishes of 6,500 sick children in Michigan. Whether it be getting a puppy, taking a trip to Disney World or meeting someone the child looks up to, Make-A-Wish does everything in its power to make that wish come true.
