City Manager Bob Bruner said despite the loss of a city charter amendment at the polls Tuesday, the city will continue to "implement the Triangle District Master Plan and other public improvement plans as best it can." He doesn't expect a similar amendment to go on the ballot any time soon.

Incumbent Supervisor Michele Economou Ureste topped challenger and former Supervisor David Flaisher by a wide margin again with roughly 67 percent of the vote. The majority of the township board she also clashed with during her first term also earned another four years.
