Snow, Cold Front Moving Into Bloomfield Area Today

Forecasters predict 1 to 3 inches of snow Saturday in southeast Michigan, just in time for the annual WinterFest, and other outdoorsy events.

 

Were you planning on experiencing WinterFest at the Bowers School Farm, today? The weather will likely cooperate.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Oakland County and all of southeast Michigan for all of Saturday. A cold front pushing through the area will bring scattered snow storms and a total accumulation of 1 to 3 inches, according to the special weather statement.

Today's high is expected to be 27 degrees; a low of 11 degrees Saturday night is expected, with a wind chill as low as minus-2 in the forecast. 

The fresh coating of snow should provide a perfect backdrop for the Winter Bird Banding festivities at the on Sunday. But bundle up. While sunny skies are predicted, the cold temperatures will remain.
