  • If you're looking for a high-energy experience intensified by a fierce cross-town rivalry, the is where you'll want to be tonight as the Barons host the  Knights at 7 p.m. The rivalry takes on new meaning with the merger of the high schools scheduled for 2013, and with the Knights trying to stay atop the Oakland Activities Association Gold division. Hosted by the Friends of the Bloomfield Township Public Library, this month's event ties into Valentine's Day theme --"Things You Love," which includes books about gardening, sports, animals, and even a few love stories.The sale is open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., but the first hour is for Friends members only.
