What is your Christmas Wish for 2012?

World peace, good health, an iPad mini—tell Santa what's on your wish list!

Did you miss Santa when he visited the Bloomfield-area shopping malls or special events this holiday season?

Well, with seven days left before Christmas, don't go chasing him down in a crowded, noisy shopping center. Now you can tell Patch's virtual Old Saint Nick what you (or your kids) would like to see under your Christmas tree this year.

Whether it's peace on Earth or a day at the spa, Santa is online (it's 2012, after all) and ready to listen.

Post a comment below and tell us what you want for Christmas!

We certainly need more kindness in this world--less negativity, less attack, less hostility. All these beautiful places of worship filled with believers, and yet we have so much of the above. How can that be? I wish for more understanding among people, a lot less "It's all about Me," mentality, and a whole lot more sensitivity toward others. If we truly believe in the message of Christmas, we should honor it every day of our lives. That's not an original thought, by any means, but one worth repeating. Each one of us has a duty to make this world a much better place simply by putting others first, and that's not an original thought either. Thanks for asking, Patch! Pat Hardy, Bloomfield Hills

What does "pending approval" mean? Do I have to approve my own message? If so, I approve it :)

Those are indeed wonderful holiday wishes, Pat, thanks for sharing. The 'approve' message you received should apply to stories or posts where the moderation settings don't allow for comments to appear automatically. But that was obviously not the case with this post. Might just have been a glitch. Happy Holidays!
