Join us as Allen Chartier, one of Michigan’s premier birding experts, will demonstrate the science of bird banding. Allen will capture, identify, measure, band, and release birds that are visiting the Nature Center bird feeders. This is a great opportunity to see common winter resident birds up-close. Additionally, Nature Center Manager Dan Badgley, will share a popular winter bird banding essay written by noted naturalist and author Aldo Leopold, entitled 65290. Refreshments provided. Due to limited seating, reservations are required
