Oakland County Bar Foundation's 13th Annual Signature Event

Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based Oakland County Bar Foundation (OCBF), a nonprofit foundation serving the citizens of Oakland County and the legal profession, will host the 13th Annual Signature Event to benefit Micigan-based law-related charitable causes on Friday, April 20, 2012, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Oakland Hills Country Club, located in Bloomfield Hills.

OCBF President Patrick McCauley shared, “These tough economic times have been particularly difficult for local nonprofits and the individuals they serve. We have received more grant requests this year than ever before, and, as the Lawyers Charity, it is our mission to help sustain these law-related programs. The fundraising surrounding the Annual Signature Event is critical to our ability to support these worthy organizations.”

Since 2002, OCBF has contributed more than $1,180,000 to legal assistance and legal education programs. Proceeds from previous events have benefited University of Detroit Mercy Mobile Law Office, Family Law Assistance Project, Legal Aid Mini Clinics, William Beaumont Hospital Legal Aid for Children, Youth Law Conference, and the Michigan Center for Civic Education.
