Roeper To Match Detroit Public Television Pledges in December

The Bloomfield Hills and Birmingham-based schools are this month's Sesame Street challenge sponsors.

It's no secret that Bloomfield-area residents are among the most ardent supporters of Detroit Public Television, and the The Roeper School is continuing that tradition.

Throughout the month of December, Roeper will match donations up to $2,500 for Detroit Public Television (DPTV).

"Our history is tied very closely with Sesame Street. Our founder Annemarie Roeper worked with Joan Ganz Cooney with the development of Sesame Street was just starting out in the 1960s," Head of School David Feldman told DPTV host Fred Nahhat during a spot that airs before and after the iconic children's show.

Pledge to DPTV by calling 1-800-859-9887
