Hooking fish from fresh water, taking a stroll of discovery the woods, and getting a hug from a strangely cute albino serpent were just some of the ways families celebrated the first day of fall Saturday at The E.L. Johnson Nature Center in Bloomfield Township.

The center hosted it's 6th annual and offered kids of all ages to fish, canoe, build crafts and interact with interesting animals, provided by Science Alive biologist Terri Neill.
