Ah, winter in Michigan; that delightful time of year when frigid temperatures, unforgiving winds and the relentless snow keep us holed up inside, craving warm, fattening comfort foods.  Do not fear, Busch’s Fresh Food Market and Botsford Hospital are here to help you survive hibernation with delectable recipes and nutrition tips to keep you slim, trim and satisfied all winter long!

Join Busch’s executive chef, Rebecca Wauldron, and Botsford Hospital’s registered dietitian, Annie House, as they team up throughout 2013 to offer communities fun and educational cooking classes!  The first cooking demonstration topic of the year is Healthy Casseroles and One Dish Meals, with an upcoming class at West Bloomfield Busch’s on March 7th from 6:00-7:30 p.m.!  During the live cooking demonstration you’ll learn helpful cooking and nutrition tips, plus you’ll receive several new recipes with nutritional analysis from Botsford Hospital.

Who says delicious foods have to be high in calories and fat in order to be flavorful?  This class will change the way you think about mealtime, with healthy twists on classic recipes like Eggplant Parmesan, and inspiring new recipes like the zesty Caribbean Curry Shrimp Bowl!

So bring your family or plan a night out with friends, but whatever you do, don’t miss out!  Tickets are $10 and include a $10 Busch’s coupon, samples and much more!  Seating is limited; call 248-538-4581 or stop by the West Bloomfield Busch’s Guest Services Desk to purchase your tickets today.
