SMART transportation millage/ VOTE NO

37 communities are NOT voting on the SMART transportation issue. 
Their leadership "opted out" of having SMART buses stop in their community.  So much for "regional" service.

The title of the ballot question is misleading.  THIS IS AN INCREASE for the next 4 years... at 1 mill each year.  As with all millages... those with the more expensive properties... pay more than others.

Currently reported:  80 % of the SMART buses need replacement.  IF this millage passes in the three counties, 27 MILLION will be collected each year....but reportedly still be $11 MILLION short of funds each year.

Why continue to put good money toward a bad system?  VOTE NO.
